Please see EOI for full role details. - The secondee will take a lead role in the Department’s contribution to policy development on EU pharmaceutical reform. The post holder will contribute to ensuring the effective incorporation of new EU legislative requirements into the national legal, regulatory and operational framework.
This will involve working across policy, regulatory, and operational areas to support legislative analysis, stakeholder engagement, implementation planning and the development of national measures required to meet Ireland’s obligations under the strategic legislative agenda.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Support the EU pharmaceutical legislative agenda by working with key stakeholder to identify requirements for transposition and implementation.
• Support the delivery of a coordinated, effective and proportionate approach to the implementation of the legislative agenda, ensuring Ireland’s compliance with its legislative obligations.
• Lead project management activities including project planning, timeline development, risk and issue management, progress monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of key implementation milestones.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including Government Departments, regulatory authorities, healthcare professionals, industry representatives, patient organisations and other relevant parties.
